User Interface

Red X

The display images are updated approximately once per minute. Each image in the display is time-stamped in the lower right hand corner. This time represents the valid time of the data upon which the image is based or, if a data feed is down, the time at which the image was generated.

If a new image is not produced, the display will show a large red X over the expired image as shown. Typically this will occur if there is a communications failure in the system.

All images will show a red X if there is a communication failure to the display host, e.g., ISP problem.
A red X on a single display is an indication of a communications failure internal to the JAWS system.

 Purple X

If the display encounters an error reading the data, a purple X will be displayed over the last good image received by the display. Purple X's will also be drawn over the display in the case of a network failure, or if the application is misconfigured.

 Button Bar

The button bar is used to select one of the five display screens or to select help.
Using the mouse, place the cursor over one of the buttons and click the left mouse button once to select a display image.
When a button has been chosen, it will appear in a lighter color than the rest of the buttons.   Above, the "Help" button has been pressed.
Be patient. It may take a few seconds for the requested screen to appear. Below are links to further descriptions of the displays:
